- In order to pre-book a room, please download, fill and send back the form to uispp2025@uksw.edu, subject “Hotel Booking – your Name”
- The committee will make the booking and communicate with you (especially if downpayment is needed)
- All mentioned daily rates are committed by hotel or guest house for a stay of c. 10 nights. They are quoted in Rupiah (IDR). Under present international situation, the rate fluctuates a lot, but you can consider that 1 € is worth around 17000+ (17k) IDR. Most rooms are therefore between 12 and 40 € per night.
- If you wish, twin rooms can be allocated on a sharing basis (please inform the committee if you want to share, and you will pay 50% of the price if we find a roommate)
- All rooms (unless specified) have a bathroom (can be simple), hot water, are air conditioned and have free WIFI.
- When provided (specified for all accommodations), breakfast type depends on the hotel category. When breakfast is not included, you can easily have it in a smaller stall / diner/ snack in the vicinity (Indonesian food and/or coffee) for 1 to 2.5 € (not included in the food and local transportation package)
- Cheap laundry is available in many places in Salatiga (the committee will try to commit with one to take and bring back on the dinner place). Laundry in hotel is generally more expensive.
In Salatiga, you can easily use UBER-like (Grab and Gojek) applications for in town transportation, with a mean price between 0.6 to 1.5/2.0€
