Several meetings (e.g. S8 “Human history heritage and communities”) will take place, in part or in totality, in Sangiran. Such sessions will include specific activities for their own participants or attendants.
Besides, one day tours of Sangiran will be organized so that all participants to the conference can visit the site.
This general tour will include reaching several important stratigraphical series, the open site Manyarejo museum, the Ngebung trail, and the central Krikilan museum. Access to several important fossils and artefacts will be foreseen as well.
The tour must depart early (around 07:00 a.m.) from Salatiga, in order to implement the site visits before lunch (in case it might rain during the afternoon). Indoor aspects can be developed in the afternoon before going back to Salatiga.
The tours schedule will be published before the conference so that participants can book for the day they wish.
