APT2025 symposia/workshops are progressively published
Symposia and sessions will naturally address the major chapters of human history that were written in mainland and island Asia, often using a comparative viewpoint with other geographical areas. However, many meeting topics intend to go beyond the frontiers of our disciplinary or sectoral domains, looking forward to Bridging Science, Heritage and Development. That will especially be the case of symposia including specialized visits, events and encounters illustrating the challenges they address.
Symposia and workshops
are pre-encouraged ones, the scientific committee having kept in contact with the organizers. A large number of them will be implemented in the Sangiran World Heritage site, accompanied by specific activities (in the field, in the villages or in the museums).
- Participants wishing to present in the framework of a symposium must contact the related organizers. During the conference, they will be automatically registered to attend.
- Participants willing to attend a symposium without presenting a paper can be registered too, several weeks before the opening of the conference, within the limit of available seats (information will be provided in due time).
- Abstract length will be limited to 2000 characters (spaces included)
